Pizza delivery man shoots suspected robber in US

Washington, June 26: A pizza delivery man allegedly shot dead a suspected robber in US, media reported.

A Domino's pizza delivery driver allegedly pulled a gun on two armed robbers, killing one and scaring the other one off, Mirror.co.uk reported.

According to reports, delivery man pulled out his gun in self defence according to police.

The driver was approached by two masked men with guns at 1 am on the 5700 block of Hollywood Boulevard.

Hollywood police officer Meredith Elrich said: "One suspect fled on foot westbound."

The police removed the driver's vehicle from the scene and it's reported that it had bullet holes in the back passenger side window.

The deceased has been identified and hunt for his accomplice is still going on.
