Peshawar attack: TTP justifies attack, says in line with what Prophet Mohammed did

Peshawar, Dec 18: The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has defended the Peshawar attack on Army Public School that killed over 140 school students on Wednesday saying that ‘their action is in line with what Prophet Mohammed did with his enemies 1400 years ago.'

According to an article in examiner.com, the TTP said: "At the time of the Bannu Qurayza massacre, Prophet Mohammed ordered only those children be killed whose pubic hair have appeared."

Bannu Qurayza was a Jewish tribe and there are evidences that 800 men and boys of this tribe were beheaded.

Many Pakistanis noted that none of the Arabian countries condemned the Peshawar attack even though Hafeez Saeed termed the attack to be a conspiracy by the Indian government.

In the Peshawar attack, the militants targeted older school children and not the young pupils.
