Pakistan Terrorist Hafiz Saeed's Son Talha Saeed's Big Move, Read Details

On Monday, Pakistan's politics witnessed a massive move after UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed's son Hafiz Saeed announced to contest the General Elections slated next year soon after forming a political front named Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML).

Hafiz Saeed was the Mastermind behind the 26/11 terror attack. And now his son is stepping into politics which is surely a not-so-good decision for the citizens of Pakistan.

According to the reports, Saeed's PMML has announced candidates for every national and provincial assembly constituency polls slated for February 8. The reports added that Talha Saeed will contest the elections from Lahore, Pakistan National Assembly's constituency NA-127. The PMML's electoral symbol is a 'chair.'

Political pandits have termed the move of terrorist-contesting elections as a big disaster for Pakistan's future. They aim to get Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) founder Hafiz Saeed out of jail, who has been behind bars since 2019 after being found guilty in several terror financing cases.

For several attacks in the US and around the world, the United States has announced a bounty of USD 10 million on Hafiz Saeed's head.

PMML President Khalid Masood Sindhu announced the party's decision to contest elections in national and provincial assembly seats through a video.

"We want to come to power not for corruption but to serve the people and make Pakistan an Islamic welfare state," Sindhu said.

Sindhu also announced that he will take on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo and former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in NA-130 of Lahore provinces. However, he denied relations with Hafiz Saeed stating "Our party has no backing of Hafiz Saeed."
