Pakistan Rangers violate ceasefire in Kathua, Jammu districts
Jammu, Jan 22: Pakistan Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing on three BSF posts in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir Thursday which followed their overnight firing at another BSF post in Jammu district.
A senior police officer told IANS in this winter capital: "Pakistan Rangers started unprovoked firing at three BSF posts on the international border in Kathua district today (Thursday) morning.

"Pakistan firing stopped after the BSF retaliated effectively."
"Yesterday (Wednesday), Pakistan Rangers had fired three rounds of automatic gunfire at Pittal post of the BSF in Arnia area at 9 p.m. The BSF had not retaliated," the officer said.
