Pakistan Minister Fawad Chaudhry Wishes Good Luck To Rahul Gandhi, Says Modi Needs To Be Defeated
Days ahead of the final phase of polling for the Lok Sabha election 2024, former Pakistani Minister Fawad Chaudhry wished Congress leader Rahul Gandhi luck and prayed for a change of government in India. Choudhary, who has been critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said "extreme ideology" needs to be defeated.
In a conversation with news agency IANS, Fawad Chaudhry said, "India should move ahead as a progressive country, and that is why Narendra Modi and his extreme ideology need to be defeated. Whoever defeats him, whether it's Rahul Ji, Kejriwal Ji, or Mamata Banerjee, best wishes to them."

Fawad Chaudhry, a former federal minister in erstwhile Imran Khan's government, said people of Pakistan want PM Narendra Modi to lose 2024 elections and praying for a government that believes in dialogue to prevail peace and establish good relations with its neighbouring country.
"The benefit of the Indian voter lies in having a good relationship with Pakistan. India should move ahead as a progressive nation," he said.
Chaudhry's remarks came in response to PM Modi's recent statement "We will make Pakistan wear bangles".
Meanwhile, Pakistani leader's 'Good Luck' message has raised the political temperature in India.
Earlier, PM Modi had questioned that why Opposition leaders are getting support from Pakistan.
"I don't understand why some select group of people, apparently those who harbor animosity against us, get endorsements from Pakistan, why voices of support emanate from there for certain individuals," the PM had said.
