"Over 3,000 Chinese are working on various projects. We have intelligence reports that terrorists may target foreign nationals especially Chinese," the minister said and added the new force which comprises more than 7,000 police, rangers and military guards, would ensure the Chinese nationals' foolproof security.

The minister also informed Chinese Consul General Yu Boren about the new force and other steps the government had taken to ensure the security of the Chinese working here. Boren expressed satisfaction over the government's steps to protect Chinese nationals.

He also said Chinese President Xi Jinping would visit Pakistan.
