Pakistan executes 2 convicted terrorists in Faisalabad
Faisalabad, Dec 19: Pakistan today executed two convicted terrorists after the capital punishment moratorium ended.
One of the terrorists, Ashrad Mehmood was executed for his role in an attempt to assassinate Pervez Mushharaf.
The other terrorist, Dr Usman, was a former soldier for the army's medical corps.
The death sentence in Pakistan was reinstated after the Peshawar school attack that killed over 140 school students.
This is the first execution since 2008.
