Pakistan: Convoy of JUI candidate targetted, 4 killed in blast
Bannu, July 13: At least four people were killed in an explosion near the convoy of Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (F)'s Akram Khan Durrani in Bannu on Friday.

Pakistani TV channel Geo News reported that Durrani has escaped the attack unhurt. Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-Fazl's Akram Khan Durrani is contesting on an MMA ticket from NA-35 Bannu.
According to initial reports, 14 people have been injured in the attack. The wounded were shifted to DHQ Bannu in ambulances and police vehicles. The RPO informed Geo News that the blast occurred 50 metres away from the rally site, adding that 40 policemen were deployed at the venue.
