The country's campaign includes a strategy to have well-informed parents, dedicated network of health workers, informed and supportive medical fraternity, civil society, religious leadership and media, Sharif said.

He said the government's priority was to reach out to each and every child so that no child remains un-vaccinated.

Sharif expressed satisfaction that Pakistan was able to significantly reduce the number of polio cases.

Pakistan looks forward to the support of Commonwealth members in its efforts to eradicate the disease, Sharif said.
