Pakistan Chief Justice not to attend India conference
Islamabad, Sep 30 The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Anwar Zaheer Jamali, will not attend a global conference scheduled in India in October, it was reported on Friday.

In a letter to the Indian Supreme Court, Jamali said he would not be able to attend the October 21-23 conference "in the present circumstances", The News International reported.
Jamali was invited by the Chief Justice of India, T.S. Thakur.
Jamali's decision follows heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, particularly after New Delhi said it carried out surgical strikes against terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control.
