Pak's crackdown: Five terrorist killed in air raids

The terrorist belonged to the Lashkar-e-Islam and Daesh.

Rawalpindi, Feb 22: As part of the ongoing crackdown on militants, the Pakistan Air Force has killed five terrorists in Khyber Agency, along the border with Afghanistan, media reported on Wednesday.

The military wing Inter-Service Public Relations said the operation was carried out in Tirah Valley in Rajagal area. Several other terrorists were injured and their hideouts destroyed in the operation, Geo TV reported.

The terrorist belonged to the Lashkar-e-Islam and Daesh, it said.

In the last two weeks, Pakistan has witnessed several deadly attacks killing at least 100 people. Security forces have launched a countrywide crackdown, nabbing suspects and carrying out search operations.
