Islamabad, Apr 14: Pakistan received at least USD 13 billion from the US since the September 11, 2001 attacks for logistic and other support in the war against terrorism, the country's parliament was told.

This was stated by defence secretary Alam Khattak while briefing the Senate committee on defence here yesterday.

Khattak said that his country got "USD 13 billion under the Coalition Support Fund (CSF) since 9/11", while another USD 200 million is due to be reimbursed by the US.

He said that 40 per cent of the amount received was allocated to civil government while 60 per cent was given to the armed forces. The CSF is going to end on September 30 this year with the US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.
