OI EXCLUSIVE: Indian People's Forum In UAE President Jitendra Vaidya Lauds PM Modi, His Foreign Policies

In a special conversation with the President of the Indian People's Forum, UAE, Jitendra Vaidya, who is nowadays campaigning in India for the BJP for ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024, OneIndia.com tried to learn what Indians living abroad and their families living in the country think about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government's foreign policies.

Jitendra Vaidya said that he is fortunate that he has met Prime Minister Modi several times, adding that the PM's aura gives him a new and positive energy every time he meets PM Modi.

He said 36 Lakh Indians living in UAE love PM Modi very much and are grateful for building the first Hindu Temple in UAE. He also praised PM Modi for the concretion of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and said that not just Indians or Hindus, but people of every community lit up Diya and celebrated Diwali on January 22.

PM Modi inaugurated the first temple in UAE on Feb 14 and the event was organised by his Indian People's Forum, UAE.

Replying to a question on the opposition and Rahul Gandhi's claim to dethrone PM this time, Vaidya said having a strong opposition is good for a healthy democracy, but Congress MP's claims are baseless. He further added that PM Modi is getting support from every Indian voter and all know "Ayega Toh Modi Hi" (PM Modi will win).

Vaidya supported his claim of Prime Minister's third-time victory with an anecdote. He said during the election campaign he spoke to an elderly woman, who told him that she got Rs 2 Lakhs Under PM Aawas Yojna. He asked her who will she vote for? she replied, Modi. He countered her saying Modi is not a candidate here, to which, the lady said she know that, but she also knows that her vote will make Modi, Prime Minister of this country.
