Tragically, one of them succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, while the other is showing signs of improvement. The ages of the victims range from their 20s to 40s. Another injured person was taken to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and is reportedly in stable condition.

Illinois Deputies Injured in Shooting Incident

In a separate incident in northern Illinois on Wednesday, three sheriff's deputies were shot while responding to a call, authorities confirmed. The suspect involved also sustained injuries during the encounter, as per media report. Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle disclosed that the deputies were called to a residence in the Lost Lake neighborhood near Dixon after reports of an individual threatening to harm himself or others. The suspect, whose identity and details remain undisclosed, was shot during the confrontation.

Sheriff VanVickle explained that a family member had alerted police about the threats shortly after 8:30 a.m. Despite negotiators' attempts to establish contact by phone, the situation escalated just before noon. "Upon entering the house, our deputies were met with gunfire from inside," VanVickle stated.

Three individuals were taken to Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital in Dixon. Two were treated and released, while the condition of the third person has not been disclosed. The investigations into both incidents are ongoing as authorities work to piece together the circumstances surrounding these tragic events.
