Nuclear Weapons Are Safe: Claims Pakistan Days After India's Operation Sindoor
Days after India's 'Operation Sindoor', in which, Indian Air Force hit multiple terror camps and their hideouts, the Government of Pakistan has given a big statement on destruction and damages. As claimed by media reports earlier that India also struck Pakistan's nuclear weapons location, Pakistan government said that its nuclear weapons are totally safe and secure.
The Foreign Office in Islamabad addressed media to emphasize the country's trust in its nuclear security measures. They assured that Pakistan's nuclear assets are safeguarded by a comprehensive security regime, highlighting the strength and effectiveness of their protocols.

Pakistan officials urged the international community to pay attention to India's nuclear arsenal too, stating that the risk of nuclear use stemming from the radicalization within its political sphere, media, and certain societal segments.
On the other side, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, during a public meeting in Srinagar, had asked the international community to seize Pakistan's nuclear weapons and it should be placed under International Atomic Energy Agency supervision.
Defence Minister had described Pakistan as a "rogue nation," implying a lack of trust in its ability to manage nuclear weapons safely.
Pahalgam Attack:
Tensions between India and Pakistan were escalated after 26 tourists were killed by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam on April 22. On May 7, India executed air strikes against terrorist operations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Later, on May 10, the situation de-escalated after high-level talks between the military operations directors from both countries.
