Not afraid of political conspiracies: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina

"I don't see any reason to be afraid of. Had I been afraid of such conspiracies, I wouldn't have come to politics," the Daily Star quoted her as saying, as she expressed satisfaction over the observance of Eid-ul-Azha in a peaceful, festive mood across the country.
She said it in reply to a reporter's question while she was exchanging Eid greetings with party leaders, workers, professionals, and other people at her official residence Gono Bhaban in the morning on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
Referring to the report on a conspiracy hatched to topple the government through unfair means, Hasina said it was the responsibility of the government to ensure such conspiracies do not occur and affect the people.
"It's our responsibility to look after this and we're performing our duty," the prime minister said, adding that conspirators will craft their plots and the government will continue its work for taking the country forward.
She also asked the media to reveal their sources too while publishing such news reports.
