New Zealand elections on Sep 20
Wellington, March 10: New Zealand Prime Minister John Key announced Monday that the country would hold general elections Sep 20.

The prime minister said in a press conference that it would be in New Zealand's best interests to give voters plenty of time before the election day, reported Xinhua.

He said G20 summit hosted by Australia Nov 15-16 was a factor in deciding the election date.
