Nawaz Sharif Ready For Grand Dialogue With Jailed Imran Khan: Pakistan PM's Advisor
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif is willing to have a grand dialogue with jailed politician and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, Prime Minister's (PM) Adviser on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah said.
Speaking to Pakistan's local news channel, Rana Sanaullah underscored the importance of engaging in comprehensive dialogue with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), asserting that unconditional talks are imperative as the sole path forward. He emphasized that such dialogue is essential for resolving issues and fostering a conducive environment.

The PTI is a reality that cannot be denied, whereas "Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari are also a reality", he said.
Sanaullah stressed that if the dialogue is political in nature, then political parties ought to be involved, suggesting that institutions could also participate in the subsequent phase of the grand dialogue, according to a report in ARY News.
He stressed on the importance of including institutions in the grand dialogue for advancement.
Significantly, PTI founder Imran Khan, presently lodged in Adiala Jail, dismissed any possibility of a deal for his release and urged the courts to expedite hearings of his cases.
Khan, who was removed from the post of prime minister following a no-confidence motion in April 2022, has been languishing in Rawalpindi's Adiala jail in multiple cases including the cipher case in which the former premier showed a piece of paper - allegedly a copy of a secret diplomatic communication - at a public rally in Islamabad, claiming it as proof of a conspiracy against his government by a foreign power, referring to US diplomat Donald Lu, who has been at the centre of the controversy.
