Pics: What chef Sanjeev Kapoor prepared for Narendra Modi's special dinner in UAE

Abu Dhabi, Aug 17: Sanjeev Kapoor, the star chef, was flown to Abu Dhabi, UAE on Sunday, Aug 16. The chef came to Abu Dhabi to make special veg dinner for Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) hosted the special dinner for Modi. ADIA controls the $800 billion sovereign wealth fund of the oil-rich Gulf country.

Modi reached UAE on Sunday on a two-day official visit. He is the first Indian PM who visited the country first time in last 34 years.

The ADIA sovereign wealth fund is said to be the world's second largest sovereign wealth fund.

Modi will be seeking to tap the sovereign wealth fund for infrastructure projects in India.

Vikas Swarup, the spokesperson of external affairs ministry, tweeted a few pictures of the dinner party. Writing on micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr Vikas tweeted, "Star chef @SanjeevKapoor was flown in by UAE hosts for a special vegetarian menu in honour of PM @narendramodi."

Later he added, "Discussing invest opprts over high level dinner. HH Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, MD of Abu Dhabi Inv. Authority hosts PM."

Meanwhile, Sanjeev Kapoor tweeted a few images showing the special veg cuisine prepared for Modi.
