Myanmar sets more political prisoners free

Myanmar last freed 69 prisoners of conscience on Nov 15 under an amnesty order of the president.
The government has promised to release all political prisoners by this year-end.
The number of the freed prisoners has added up to 29,861 since the new civilian government took office March 30, 2011.
The government reformed the Committee for Scrutinising Remaining Prisoners of Conscience in May this year to handle the case.
