Musk - Trump Interview | Declares Love For Putin, Criticises Biden As ‘Pathetic President'
Donald Trump's highly anticipated interview with billionaire Elon Musk, which was streamed on Musk's social media platform X, was delayed due to technical issues.
Many users faced difficulties accessing the live stream, causing frustration among viewers. After about 45 minutes of waiting, it was reported that more than 1.3 million people were tuning in to the interview.

Musk - Trump Interview Debut
The interview, which began later than scheduled, saw Musk commend Trump for his bravery following a recent assassination attempt. Musk, who had initially supported Democratic President Joe Biden in the 2020 election, publicly backed Trump shortly after the shooting incident.
This endorsement marked a significant shift in Musk's political alignment, as he had previously been associated with the Democratic Party. Throughout the conversation, Trump reiterated his familiar grievances and made exaggerated claims. He asserted, without providing evidence, that if he had been president, Russia would not have invaded Ukraine.

Trump also praised several authoritarian leaders Putin of Russia, Xi Jinping of China, and Kim Jong Un of North Korea-describing them as being at the "top of their game." Trump's frustration was evident as he criticized Vice President Kamala Harris, who has recently replaced Biden on the Democratic ticket. Trump noted that he had previously led in polls against Biden but is now trailing Harris in several critical battleground states.
The interview also featured Trump expressing admiration for Musk's management style, particularly his approach to firing employees. Trump remarked on Musk's practice of dismissing employees without hesitation, stating, "You're the greatest cutter. I mean, I look at what you do. You walk in, you just say: 'You want to quit?' They go on strike - I won't mention the name of the company - but they go on strike. And you say: 'That's okay, you're all gone.'"
This interview came at a pivotal time for Trump's campaign, which is facing new challenges. Harris's recent rise and energetic rallies have erased Trump's lead in opinion polls, and the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Chicago could further bolster her momentum.
In a notable shift, Trump, who has been a long-time critic of electric vehicles, publicly supported them following Musk's endorsement. Trump stated during an early August rally, "I'm for electric cars. I have to be because Elon endorsed me very strongly. So I have no choice." This change in stance reflects the influence of Musk's endorsement on Trump's political positions.
