Robert Mugabe's party to raise $1 mn for his 90th birthday

Born Feb 21, 1924, Mugabe has been leading Zimbabwe for 34 years since its independence in 1980.
"This is a very special celebration. Turning 90 is no mean feat, " Xinhua quoted Absalom Sikhosana, secretary for youth affairs of the ruling Zimbabwe African National Union - Patriotic Front (Zanu-PF) party. The celebrations would be held in the Marondera town Feb 23.
The Zanu-PF youth league, usually tasked for organising the Feb 21 celebrations, was targeting to raise between $700,000 and $1 million, the official added.
