Moscow Attack: India Expresses Solidarity With Russia, PM Modi Condemns Terror Attack
After the deadly in a theater in Moscow that claimed more than 60 livers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed solidarity with Russia and condemned the terror attack. Extending support to Russia, PM Modi, in a post on X, said "We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Moscow. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims."
"India stands in solidarity with the government and the people of the Russian Federation in this hour of grief," he added.

According to the reports, the terror attack happened at a large concert hall in Moscow, where, terrorists opened fire to kill more than 60 and around 100 were left injured. The terrorists also set the theater on fire. Notably, this is the same venue, where President Vladimir Putin cemented his grip on power.
Reportedly, the Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the terror attack and loss of lives.
Videos of the tragic incident are doing round the internet, that show, a panic situation and people running out of the concert hall, who had gathered to watch a performance by the Russian rock band Picnic. The music hall can accommodate 6200 people and it is expected that the toll may rise.
Earlier, on March 7, the Russian security agency had issued an alert of an attack on a synagogue in Moscow by an Islamic State cell after 6 alleged IS members were knocked down by the security forces in Ingushetia.
