Mona Alam Private Video Leaked Online? Pakistani Anchor Responds On Viral MMS Clip

In recent months, MMS videos falsely attributed to Pakistani celebrities have been circulating online, with most of them proving to be fabricated. The latest target of this malicious trend is renowned Pakistani news anchor Mona Alam whose private video has been leaked online.
Known for hosting Question Hour with Mona Alam on Hum News, Mona recently addressed an alleged explicit video involving her on X (formerly Twitter).

Sharing a screenshot of the purported MMS video, Mona wrote, "This woman's objectionable video is being spread by petty haters on social media, claiming it's me." She clarified that the individual in the video is a known criminal and shared an authentic image of the woman to debunk the claims.

Mona also posted a copy of the police complaint she filed against the circulation of the MMS video. In her post, she emphasized, "My character is spotless, and all those campaigning against it will face the music!"

The complaint, submitted to the Additional Director of the Federal Investigation Agency Cyber Crime in Islamabad, included links to social media posts falsely linking her to the explicit video. Mona revealed that some senior journalists were also sent the fake video via WhatsApp, further spreading the false narrative.

This incident is part of a broader wave of character assassination campaigns targeting Pakistani celebrities. Prominent figures like Maryam Faisal, Kanwal Aftab, Minahil Malik, Mathira Mohammad, and Imsha Rehman have faced similar allegations, with many publicly denying the authenticity of the videos associated with them.
