PM Modi, UN chief discuss development
New York, Sep 26: UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Friday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here ahead of his speech at the UN Sustainable Development Summit.
"Discussing development @UN. @secgen Ban Ki Moon calls on PM @narendramodi before he speaks at UN SDG Summit," tweeted external affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup.

"Recording the nation's bond to @UN. PM @narendramodi presents a book on India & the UN to @secgen Ban Ki-Moon," he said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived to a rousing welcome for his much anticipated second visit to the US, on Thursday, to participate in the United Nations summit on development and give a boost to his 'Make in India' and 'Digital India' programmes.
