Modi still popular: Pakistani daily
Islamabad, Nov 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains "very popular" in India but the BJP's debacle in Bihar shows that his magic may be fading, a Pakistani newspaper said on Tuesday.
The Nation said in an editorial that one must keep in mind that Bihar was only one of many states in India "and Modi remains very popular".

Despite the sweeping win of the Grand Alliance, much of the vote bank of the Bharatiya Janata Party remains intact, it said.
"However, one thing is clear: Modi magic is not going to be enough on its own win them (BJP) seats in state elections as well where local social and cultural issues matter."
The editorial also said that the Bihar defeat may be a signal that hate politics was being rejected by India.
