A post on X on Tuesday night saw Dubai's Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum extending "a warm welcome to the Republic of India, the guest of honour at this year's World Governments Summit". "The Republic of India and His Excellency Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, are warmly welcomed as the guest of honour at this year's World Governments Summit. The robust ties between our nations stand as a testament to international cooperation," he stated.

The @WorldGovSummit has been transformed into one of the world's leading platforms for sharing governance best practices, success stories, and initiatives, as well as envisioning the future of government. India is pleased to be welcomed as a distinguished guest at this international event, where its innovations, initiatives, and projects across diverse sectors will be showcased as a model for accelerating development for government service delivery," added the Crown Prince.

Two images of the Burj Khalifa, adorned with the Indian flag and the logo of the World Governments Summit, were also attached. Abu Dhabi was visited by Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday, marking his seventh visit to the UAE since assuming office in 2014.

Upon arrival, it was expressed by him that being in the UAE made him "feel at home." Modi was greeted by the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and was accorded the Guard of Honour. A bilateral meeting was also held by the two leaders.

On Tuesday, the Prime Minister also interacted with the Indian community in Abu Dhabi and addressed the 'Ahlan Modi' cultural event. On Wednesday, the BAPS Mandir, the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, will be inaugurated him. "The BAPS temple will be an enduring tribute to the values of harmony, peace, and tolerance, which are shared by both India and the UAE," he said. After the UAE, he will travel to Qatar, his second trip to the Gulf nation since 2014.
