New Delhi, Oct 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated Justin Trudeau for his electoral victory that will make him the Prime Minister of Canada and said India attaches high priority to close ties with that country.

Modi recalled his meeting with Trudeau during his visit to Canada in April and posted pictures of them together on his Twitter handle.
