I know my father, he is a nice man: Son of MH370 pilot
Ahmed Seth said," I know my father. I know what kind of a man he is. I've read everything online. But I've ignored all the speculation. I know my father better".
The language student further added,"We may not be close as he travels so much. But I understand him."
He appeared to be calm and not resentful, although none of his elder siblings or mother appeared before the media. He spoke with a calm resolution and said that he was ready for the confirmation and was not surprised when Prime Minister Najib Razak's announcement that the plane had gone down in the Indian Ocean.
"I knew the outcome when there was no news even after 18 days since the plane crashed with the 239 passengers and crew members. I am just waiting for the right confirmation. I will believe it (that there are no survivors) when I see the proof in front of my eyes," he told the New Straits Times.
He appreciated the support he received from his friends and admitted that he was the strongest in the family, dealing with reality. But he refrained from saying how the others in his family were reacting to it.
Investigating authorities in the case have already interrogated the family members and friends of Captain Zaharie Ahmed Shah and his co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid to establish a possibility of the duo crashing the plane intentionally.
