MH 370: Terengganu police report explosion in Marang

Datuk Jamshah Mustapa, the chief of the Terengganu police said that the report has been forwarded to Bukit Aman.
However, it is still uncertain whether the report can be relied upon as the explosion was heard just by eight people and none of them saw the object. "So far, we only received one report at the Marang district police station yesterday morning," said police.
The men approached the district police station yesterday to lodge a complain of a strange explosion, which also sounded like the engine of a jet. The explosion was heard in the north-east of Pulau Kapas. INterestingly, the villagers, who are residents of Kampung Pantai Seberang Marang, at around 1:20 am, just an hour after the plane took off from Kuala Lumpur.
MH 370, the Malaysian Airline, vanished with 239 passengers including 2 infants. It is now believed that the plane can be located in the South of Indian Ocean.. Hence, search operations have been diverted there.
