Massive Fire Erupts In 67-Story Dubai Skyscraper, Over 3800 People Evacuated
A major fire erupted in the early hours of Saturday at a 67-storey residential tower in Dubai Marina, known as Marina Pinnacle or Tiger Tower. The blaze prompted an extensive emergency response, resulting in the safe evacuation of over 3,800 residents. Authorities confirmed that there were no injuries or fatalities during the incident.
Swift Evacuation and Emergency Response
Dubai Civil Defence teams worked tirelessly for six hours to control the fire. Specialised firefighting and rescue units ensured the safe evacuation of all 3,820 residents from 764 apartments. The Dubai Media Office (DMO) reported that the evacuation was completed without any incidents. "Control measures remain in place and the situation is fully managed by the firefighting teams," noted the DMO.

Residents' Experiences During the Fire
Some residents expressed concerns about the initial response within the building. According to reports by Gulf News, several individuals were unaware their building was on fire until they saw fire trucks or neighbours alerted them. Aron, who works nearby, stated, "I think there was no fire alarm, or it didn't work."
The fire broke out around 9:30 pm and drew large crowds along with an immediate response from Dubai Civil Defence, police, and emergency medical teams. Videos shared on social media depicted residents covering their faces and rushing out through the main entrance as thick smoke billowed from the tower.
