Mass Shooting In New York Park Leaves 1 Dead, 6 Injured
A mass shooting at Maplewood Park in Rochester, New York, resulted in one fatality and six injuries, as reported by local media.
Rochester Police Department Captain Greg Bello stated that police responded to the scene at approximately 6:20 pm on Sunday following reports of gunshots during a large gathering.

Upon arrival, they found multiple individuals with gunshot wounds and a large crowd fleeing the area.
A 20-year-old victim was pronounced dead, another individual is in critical condition, and five others sustained relatively minor injuries and were hospitalized.

Victims were transported to hospitals by both private vehicles and ambulances.
The victim's identity has not been disclosed.
Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Irondequoit Police, Monroe County Sheriffs, Rochester Police, and New York State Police, responded to the incident.
