Many feared dead after 2 US Army choppers collide mid-air
Many feared dead after two military helicopters reportedly collided outside of an Army installation in Trigg County, Kentucky, according to officials.
Two HH60 Blackhawks of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) were conducting a training exercise at approximately 10PM on Wednesday night (March 29) when the incident happened.

The 101st Airborne confirmed the crash, saying on Twitter it resulted in "several casualties" but did not specify whether those were injuries or deaths.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear had earlier confirmed it on a tweet and said that ''fatalities are expected.''

''We've got some tough news out of Fort Campbell, with early reports of a helicopter crash and fatalities are expected. @kystatepolice, @KentuckyEM and local officials are responding. We will share more information as available. Please pray for all those affected,'' he wrote.
It was not immediately clear whether there were casualties, the report said, adding that the status of the crew members was unknown.
