Man commits suicide for girlfriend's shopping spree

Xuzhou (China), Feb 1: A man is reported to have committed suicide after being fed up of his girlfriend's shopping spree in the mall. According to an eyewitness, the duo fought over the issue.

The man could be heard saying that he could not carry so may shopping bags. But th woman insisted on further shopping and this time she wanted to buy a shoes. When the man complained that she had way too many shoes, the woman shot back saying that he was thrifty and was ruining her christmas.

Frustrated, 38 year old Tao Hsiao jmped off the barricade of the mall. The height of his fall is estimated to be seven floors. The duo had been shopping at the Golden Eagle International Shopping Center in Xuzhou, China.
