London: French couple plunges to death during 'lovemaking'

London, Aug 24: A French couple plunged to their death while 'having sex' on the wall surrounding a castle on Chausey island in the English Channel, media reported.

The naked bodies of the couple were discovered in the moat of Vauban Fort's castle last week, The Independent reported.

Police said the pair may have fallen to their death while engaging in "lovemaking" that went wrong, the British daily cited French Le Figaro newspaper as saying.

Their belongings were found "above" at the castle.

The couple, both in their 30s, was from the Normandy region of France.
