Mexican News Channel Airs Man's Testicles Instead Of Eclipse Coverage

A Mexican news outlet's coverage of the solar eclipse went viral for the wrong reasons when prank footage was aired during the recent total solar eclipse. RCG Media's 24/7 news program was showcasing viewers' home footage of the celestial event when it inadvertently played a video of a man's testicles, shocking viewers. The incident occurred as the male presenter listed cities where the eclipse could be seen, with the left side of the screen unexpectedly cutting to the prank footage.

The channel's vetting team seemingly failed to notice the submission, leading to swift backlash on social media, where the incident was dubbed the "testicular eclipse." One of the female presenters audibly gasped after the footage aired, prompting the clip to be quickly removed from the screen.

In an attempt to mitigate the damage, the male presenter explained that the clips were viewer submissions, acknowledging that including viewer experiences can sometimes lead to embarrassing situations for broadcasters.

One social media user humorously took credit for the stunt, claiming responsibility for the prank. However, it remains unconfirmed whether this user was truly behind the clip or if the footage was recycled from previous pranks. The user had previously posted the clip before it was broadcast live, adding to the mystery surrounding the incident.
