LeT's Abdul Rehman al-Dakhil declared as Specially Designated Global Terrorist by US
Washington, July 31: Terrorist group Lashkar e-Taiba (LeT)'s Abdul Rehman al-Dakhil was on Tuesday declared as a "Specially Designated Global Terrorist" by the United States.
The move will deny Dakhil the resources to plan and carry out terrorist attacks, the State Department said in a statement.
Dakhil was an operational leader for LeT's attacks in India between 1997 and 2001.
He was LeT's divisional commander for the Jammu region in 2016. He is still a senior commander in LeT.
