LeT Qaiser Farooq Allegedly Dead: List Of 17 Terrorists Killed Since March 2022
Qaiser Farooq of Lashkar-e-Taiba has allegedly become the latest addition to the list of India's most wanted terrorists, who have been eliminated recently in countries such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

A list that has gone viral on X handle claims that 17 terrorists, inclusive of Farooq, were eliminated since March 2022. However, the list caught the users' attention when a video reportedly of CCTV footage showing the death of Lashkar-e-Taiba's Qaisar Farooq, spread rapidly on Sunday. Although the exact date and timings of the video are uncertain, the surveillance footage seems to show a man, allegedly the most wanted Lashkar terrorist, casually strolling down a street in Karachi in the midst of the crowd.
As bullet sounds echo, onlookers disperse to find shelter, during which the person thought to be Qaiser Farooq is seen collapsing. The Dawn, a Pakistani paper, confirmed a man by that name was indeed fatally wounded in Karachi. Nevertheless, there is no certainty that this Qaiser is the same as one of the most-wanted terrorists in India.
Dawn's report states that local officials suspect Qaiser was intentionally targeted. The authorities revealed that unknown armed attackers shot at both Qaiser, aged 30, and Farooq Shakir, aged 10, who were near Gulshan-e-Omar Madrasa, adjacent to the Edi Center, before escaping.
According to the report from Dawn, Irshad Ahmed Soomro, the officer in charge of the Samanabad police station, confirmed that the injured individuals were quickly rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. However, Qaiser Farooq who was shot in the back, couldn't survive his injuries.
SSP Faisal Abdullah Chachar of Karachi Central implied that the lack of robbery or theft related to the victims signals a planned murder. In Pakistan, there have lately been numerous cases of India's top terrorists being eliminated in a similar manner.
Qaiser is identified as one of the founders of the prohibited terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and is linked closely with Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind behind the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai and the leader of LeT.
Shortly after reports emerged about the disappearance of Hafeez Saeed's son, the killing of Lashkar terrorist Qaiser in Karachi was announced. Kamaluddin Saeed, a son of the globally sought terrorist Hafeez Saeed, has reportedly been missing since Tuesday, September 26. He is believed to have been abducted in Peshawar by unknown individuals who were said to have arrived in a car. The ISI has not been able to locate him.
Hafiz Saeed, a Pakistani citizen and the mastermind behind the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, is an internationally recognized terrorist. He is presently serving a sentence in a prison in Pakistan.
