Lalit Modi Seen At Sidhartha Mallya's UK Wedding Ceremony

Former Indian Premier League (IPL) chief and fugitive Lalit Modi was seen at the wedding of Vijay Mallya's son, Sidhartha Mallya, and Jasmine in the UK over the weekend.

The wedding took place at Vijay Mallya's opulent estate in Hertfordshire, featuring a Christian wedding followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony.

Both Lalit Modi and Vijay Mallya are embroiled in legal troubles. Mallya is wanted in India for his alleged involvement in a loan fraud case exceeding ₹900 crore, while Modi faces charges of tax evasion and money laundering.

Lalit Modi was suspended from the BCCI after IPL 2010 due to allegations of misconduct and financial irregularities. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) accused him of defrauding the board of ₹753 crore in collusion with officials from the World Sports Group (WSG).

The couple's wedding was attended by friends and family, featuring both Christian and Hindu ceremonies. Jasmine wore a stunning white gown for the Christian wedding and a pink lehenga for the Hindu ceremony. Videos shared by guests showcased the festivities, including the couple's first dance and the cutting of a four-tier wedding cake.

The couple shared two official photos from the wedding on their Instagram accounts, captioning them "Mr and Mrs Muppet."
