Washington, February 7: Kurt Campbell, a staunch advocate of the India-US relationship and widely regarded as the architect of the QUAD, has been confirmed by the US Senate as the Deputy Secretary of State. Currently serving as the Coordinator for Indo-Pacific Affairs at the National Security Council of the White House, 67-year-old Campbell received overwhelming support from the Senate, securing 92 votes in favor of his confirmation.
