Kamala Harris Makes Stunning Met Gala Debut In Custom Off-White Gown
Former US Vice President Kamala Harris made a stylish entrance at the Met Gala for the first time, swapping her trademark trouser suits for a bespoke Off-White gown.
Attending the 2025 edition of fashion's most celebrated night, Harris wore a custom design by Off-White's creative director, IB Kamara.

Her black and cream ensemble perfectly reflected this year's theme - "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" - which paid tribute to Black dandyism and identity through fashion.
The outfit featured sharp tailoring, a single sleeve, and a flowing silk scarf - elements that added sophistication while maintaining an understated elegance.
Kamara explained that the design was inspired by Harris's calm strength and confidence.
"The refined simplicity of this black and cream look for Kamala D. Harris mirrors her strength and self-assurance, which I see as central to the essence of dandyism," he told The Hollywood Reporter.
Images from the night were shared on Instagram by former White House photographer Cameron Smith.
The 2025 Met Gala also marked the unveiling of the Costume Institute's spring exhibition.
This year's event featured a prominent line-up of co-chairs including Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour. LeBron James, initially due to serve as honorary chair, withdrew due to a knee injury.
