Kamala Harris Crops Out Trump From Jimmy Carter’s Funeral Photo – Coincidence Or Snub?
The funeral of former US President Jimmy Carter saw the presence of five current and former American presidents. However, when Vice President Kamala Harris and the Carter Center shared an official photograph from the event, one notable figure was missing-Donald Trump.
Trump, who attended the funeral at Washington National Cathedral with his wife Melania Trump, was not included in the image posted by Harris. This event also marked the first time Trump and Harris came face-to-face since the 2024 US presidential elections, where Trump secured victory against her.

Photo Features Only Three Democrats
The image shared by Harris included current US President Joe Biden and former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, all standing with their hands over their hearts. However, former Republican President George W. Bush was also partly obscured in the picture, with Harris's husband, Doug Emhoff, blocking his view.
Was the Omission Intentional?
Trump was positioned next to Obama at the event, yet the photograph shared by Harris featured a large pillar that conveniently blocked both Donald and Melania Trump. In her tribute post to Carter, Harris wrote:
"President Jimmy Carter loved our country. He lived his faith, served the people, and left the world better than he found it."
The Carter Center also shared a different photograph from the funeral, but Trump was absent from that one as well. While other attendees, including Bill Clinton, Laura Bush, and Barack Obama, were visible, Trump and Melania were nowhere to be seen. It remains unclear whether this exclusion was deliberate, as other images from the event did capture all five US presidents together.
A Rare Moment of Bipartisanship Amid Deep Divisions
Despite ongoing political tensions, the funeral served as a rare moment of bipartisan unity. Notably, Barack Obama was seen having a friendly conversation with Trump, despite their long-standing political rivalry.
Former Vice President Mike Pence also attended the ceremony. Though he was a staunch ally of Trump during their tenure, Pence distanced himself following the January 6 Capitol riots, refusing to endorse Trump in the 2020 election aftermath. His wife, Karen Pence, along with former President George W. Bush, reportedly avoided any direct interaction with Trump. Former First Lady Michelle Obama was absent from the event.
As the debate continues over the missing presidents in Harris's photograph, the political divide in the US remains as evident as ever.
