JuD supports Pakistan Army in Kashmir jihad, says Hafiz Saeed
Islamabad, April 18: Jamaat-ud-Dawah chief Hafiz Saeed has admitted that his organization favours Pakistani army in Jammu and Kashmir jihad.
While talking on Yemen crisis in a TV interview with Channel 24 he said, "We support the Pakistani government and Pakistan army in their efforts to help the people of Kashmir. And, we call it jihad."

The issue of arrest of separatist Masarat Alam by the Jammu and Kashmir government was also discussed during the interview.
"Pakistan and its government have always maintained that people of Kashmir should get their rights. Whatever the Pakistani government does to achieve this is jihad for us and we support Pakistan, Pakistani government and Pakistani forces."
Separatist leader Masarat Alam Bhat was arrested on sedition charges from his home in Habbakadal area in Srinagar, apparently after the Centre pushed for it.
A day after Masarat Alam and other separatists leader were arrested, huge protest erupted in the valley. As per latest report, one person has died in Narbal area in police firing. Sources say the boy who died is a student of ninth class.
