Joe Biden Opens Up About Pressure From Democrats And Election Integrity Concerns

In his first interview after stepping down from the US presidential race, Joe Biden revealed that some Democrats, including Speaker Nancy Pelosi, pressured him to exit. "A number of my Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate thought that I was going to hurt them in the. Support for Kamala Harris

Biden has consistently shown support for Vice President Kamala Harris. He remarked, "Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz are running a campaign on behalf of all Americans. And when they're elected, they will govern on behalf of all Americans." His endorsement underscores his belief in their leadership capabilities.

Journalist Seymour Hersh reported that Barack Obama allegedly threatened Biden with the 25th Amendment to force him out of the race. According to Collin Rugg's post on X, "Obama called Biden after breakfast [on July 20] and said, 'Here's the deal. We have Kamala's approval to invoke the 25th Amendment,'" as per a senior Washington official's account shared by Hersh.

Biden's Transition Presidency

Reflecting on his initial run for presidency, Biden mentioned seeing himself as a transition president. "When I ran the first time, I thought of myself as being a transition president. I can't even say how old I am - it's hard for me to get out of my mouth," he added humorously.

The statement aligns with Hersh's report claiming Obama had Kamala Harris's backing to remove Biden from the race using the 25th Amendment. This move was purportedly aimed at ensuring a smoother path for Harris's leadership.
