Jeff Bezos Buys Home In Miami's 'Billionaire Bunker', Tom Brady Will Be His Neighbour
Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, is in the process of acquiring a residence on a prestigious man-made barrier island in Miami, famously dubbed the "Billionaire Bunker." This exclusive locale has become the address of choice for an array of luminaries, including Tom Brady, Ivanka Trump, and her spouse Jared Kushner.
At 59 years old, Bezos is investing a substantial $68 million in a waterfront, three-bedroom dwelling sprawling over 2.8 acres (1.1 hectares), as reported by Fortune magazine and Bloomberg. His transition from Amazon's CEO in 2021 signifies a shift towards philanthropic endeavors and other undertakings.

According to Miami-Dade property records, MTM Star International was the previous proprietor of the property. While Bezos is not yet listed as the owner on the county website, the property's sale in June is documented.
Guillermo Olmedillo, the village manager of Indian Creek Village, indicated no awareness of the acquisition when contacted by The Associated Press. This well-appointed village boasts amenities like a country club and its own dedicated police force.
Historical records reveal that the property exchanged hands for a mere USD 1.4 million back in 1982. With an expansive 9,300 square feet (864 square meters) and a complementing pool, the residence is an epitome of luxury.
Bezos is no stranger to Miami, having graduated from Palmetto High School in the area.
