Israeli Embassy Blast: Travel Advisory Issued for Israeli Citizens In India
Following a recent explosion near the Israeli embassy in New Delhi, the Israeli National Security Council (NSC) has issued a travel advisory for Israeli citizens in India. The advisory comes amid concerns of a possible terror attack, although no injuries were reported in the blast.

Heightened Security Measures
The NSC has urged Israeli nationals to exercise caution and avoid crowded places, malls, markets, and locations frequented by Westerners, Jews, and Israelis. They are also advised to remain vigilant in public areas such as restaurants, hotels, and pubs, and to refrain from openly displaying Israeli symbols.
Avoiding Large-Scale Events and Social Media
The advisory recommends avoiding unsecured large-scale events and refraining from publicizing itineraries, photographs, and details of visits in real-time on social media. These measures aim to minimize potential risks and ensure the safety of Israeli citizens in India.
Ongoing Investigation
The incident is currently under investigation by local authorities in collaboration with Israeli security forces. Teams from the Delhi Police's Special Cell, bomb disposal squad, and fire department conducted a thorough search operation in the area following the explosion.
Previous Incidents
This is not the first time that the Israeli embassy in New Delhi has been targeted. In 2021, an explosion outside the embassy caused damage to vehicles, while in 2012, the wife of an Israeli security staff member was injured in an attack on her car.
Heightened Security Around Embassy
Security has been significantly increased around the Israeli embassy in New Delhi, especially since the recent conflict between Israel and Hamas earlier this year. Officials have taken measures to ensure the safety of the embassy and its staff.
The Israeli National Security Council's travel advisory serves as a precautionary measure to safeguard Israeli citizens in India following the explosion near the Israeli embassy in New Delhi. By adhering to the recommended security guidelines, Israeli nationals can minimize potential risks and travel with greater peace of mind.
