Israel Halts Supply Entry To Gaza, Warns Of Further Action If Hamas Rejects Ceasefire Deal
Israel announced on Sunday that it is halting the entry of all goods and supplies into the Gaza Strip.
The Prime Minister's Office did not provide further details on the decision but warned of "additional consequences" if Hamas does not accept what Israel claims is a U.S.-backed proposal to extend the ceasefire.

It remains unclear whether the supply of humanitarian aid has been entirely cut off.
The first phase of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which saw an increase in humanitarian assistance, ended on Saturday. Negotiations for the second phase-where Hamas was expected to release more hostages in exchange for an Israeli withdrawal and a lasting ceasefire-have yet to take place.
Earlier on Sunday, Israel stated its support for extending the initial phase of the ceasefire until April 20, covering both Ramadan and Passover. According to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, the proposal originated from the Trump administration's Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff.
Under this plan, Hamas would release half of the hostages on the first day, with the remainder being freed once an agreement on a permanent ceasefire is reached.
There has been no immediate response from the United States, Egypt, or Qatar, who have been mediating discussions between Israel and Hamas for over a year. Hamas has yet to issue a statement on the proposal.
