Israel Army Urges Northern Gaza Residents To Evacuate Southwest Of Gaza Strip For Humanitarian Aid

The Israeli military has asked people from northern Gaza to a humanitarian area in al-Mawasi, which is located in the southwest of the Gaza Strip, where international humanitarian aid will be provided as needed, a spokesman said on Wednesday.

The IDF, in an official statement, advises the residents of northern Gaza and Gaza City to relocate to the Al-Mawasi region, situated to the south of Wadi Gaza. The IDF suggests that moving to the open spaces in the western part of Khan Yunis, specifically in the Al-Mawasi vicinity, is a prudent course of action.

This message was posted by team of cyber experts in Israel who have come together and started their own 'war room' to help locate Israelis missing after last week's attack by the Palestinian militant group Hamas.

Hamas militants managed to bypass stringent Israeli security measures, exiting the Gaza Strip and launching attacks on Israeli towns and kibbutzes. This resulted in the loss of 1,300 lives and the capture of nearly 200 individuals. In retaliation, Israel carried out sustained airstrikes on Gaza, resulting in the deaths of over 2,700 Palestinians, while also preparing for a ground assault.

Israel has vowed to eliminate Hamas in response to the attacks, while Hamas says it will execute hostages in response to Israeli strikes on civilians.
