Video posted by ISIS shows beheading of an American journalist

is in shock after a video posted by the Islamic State of

and Syria (ISIS) showing the beheading of a US journalist and threatening the life of another American.

According to CNN (read here) the video was posted on Tuesday on YouTube. In the video James Foley is seen kneeling next to a masked man. Foley reads a message that says 'America is his real killer.'

"I wish I had more time. I wish I could have the hope for freedom to see my family once again," Foley is heard saying in the video. Following his message, he is then beheaded.

Minutes after the gruesome act, at the end of the video another American Steven Joel Sotloff, is seen kneeling next to the masked man and the message reads that if the US doesn't pull out its forces from Iraq, the ISIS would kill Sotloff.

Meanwhile, the Obama government has still not confirmed the death and the authenticity of the video. A White House representative said that Obama would be given continuous updates on the matter.

Reports suggest that Foley was kidnapped in November 2012 in Syria and was missing since then.
