Iran's Missile Attack On Israel; PM Benjamin Netanyahu Moves To A Security Bunker
Soon after Iran launched more than 200 missiles on Israel, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly moved to a safe security bunker. Iran's missiles attack at Israel marked a significant escalation in regional tensions.
The Revolutionary Guards stated this was in retaliation for the deaths of key figures, including Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh Hezbollah's Hassan Nasrallah. They warned of a "harsher response" if Israel retaliates. This attack follows recent Israeli actions that resulted in over 1,000 casualties in Lebanon.

The Israeli Army confirmed the missile attack from Iran, which targeted around 10 million civilians. This came after a US warning of an 'imminent attack.' Residents were instructed to seek shelter and stay near bomb shelters as Iranian missiles approached. The Israeli Air Force claimed to have intercepted several missiles, highlighting the growing conflict's potential to lead to full-scale war.
Iran's Warning and International Reactions
Iran's Revolutionary Guards emphasized that their missile launches were a direct response to the killing of leaders from groups backed by Iran in the Middle East. They cautioned that any retaliation from Israel would be met with an even more devastating response. Iranian media reported these warnings, underscoring the heightened tensions between the two nations.
A senior Iranian official revealed that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered the missile strikes on Israel. The official also mentioned that Tehran is prepared for any counteraction from Israel. Meanwhile, a US official warned Iran of "severe consequences" if they launched ballistic missiles against Israel. US military forces are positioned nearby to support Israel if needed.
The situation remains tense as both nations brace for possible further escalations. With military forces on high alert and international eyes watching closely, the potential for broader conflict looms large over the region.
